Resonance
Echari
Once called Sylph
Battlefield conductors — information, area denial, and ally synchronization through living acoustics.
Not plants or druids. Their bodies are living instruments; the antlers are bio-ceramic resonators.
In developmentUnfinished build — systems and art will change
Opening cinematic
An early look at Dross after the Harvester Cataclysm — the tone and world Alatheya is being built toward.
Systems
Core pillars from Alatheya’s design canon — still evolving in the development build.
Geometry-driven targeting. Attacker position and facing decide hits against anatomical weak points — no dice rolls.
Builds from Tunings, Xeno-Splicing, and Loadouts. Power comes from biology and Syntropy, not gear ladders.
Dross under Vournakhalion: eclipses, orbital cascades, and overlapping regional weather that reshapes the fight.
Fixed-tick simulation with prediction and reconciliation — built for multiplayer from the ground up.
Playable races
Each race is a fixed biological pairing — Affinity is anatomy, not a menu choice. Select a form to read its place on Dross.
Resonance
Once called Sylph
Battlefield conductors — information, area denial, and ally synchronization through living acoustics.
Not plants or druids. Their bodies are living instruments; the antlers are bio-ceramic resonators.
Magnetism
Once called Mur'Ik
Bio-metallic monks of frictionless magnetic movement — martial mobility, repulsion, and field weaponization.
Magnetism is anatomy: sense the field, then rewrite the fight around it.
Ion
Once called Gambol
Architects of conductive opportunity — extreme speed, disruption, and paths only they can close.
Sense, polarize, couple, exploit, reposition. Conduction requires a path.
Gravity
Once called Sorani
Spatial controllers who snipe, pin, and rearrange the vertical fight.
They do not overcome gravity — they redefine it.
Plasma
Once called Rigi
Magma-blooded berserker-shamans — volcanic biology, brutalist strength, and heat-based denial.
Pressure builds in the core; authored releases spend it, unmanaged heat becomes strain.
Morphosis
Once called Nincaida
Living evolution engines — real-time anatomical adaptation constrained to viable, functional forms.
Four walking legs, two weapon arms, and a Gene Matrix that forbids shapeless outcomes.
Coherence
Once called Veneficus
Limbless biomechanical serpents of prediction, projection, and shared cognition.
Ten detachable hide plates are both armor budget and the cost of every hotbar cast.
Inertia
Once called Liegen
Ancient mineral-organic anchors — the immovable tank that arrests acceleration and grounds the fight.
Not a stone golem. Dense living mass that accepts kinetic work without pressure-vessel anatomy.

Special thanks
Before Alatheya became the game it is today, it was a shared dream shaped by Team Augreal. In and around 2008, programmers, artists, modelers, musicians, writers, and organizers gave their time, imagination, and craft to help this world take its first steps.
The Alatheya now in development is a new work, but their early contributions remain part of its history. With gratitude, we remember and thank the people who helped Alatheya begin.
The original Alatheya team — Team Augreal
Thank you for helping Alatheya begin.
A note from the creator
I first came up with the concept for Alatheya in 2003. At the time, I was fortunate enough to have a dedicated team of volunteers help bring an early alpha version to life five years later. That chapter came to an unexpected and abrupt halt due to circumstances beyond my control; and, by the time I was able to start working on the project again, I no longer had the resources to give it my full attention. I still wanted this world finished — not as a nostalgia project, but as the game it was always meant to be.
I do not have a studio budget, a hired art department, or a second lifetime to rebuild every asset by hand. Using AI tools was not a shortcut past caring. It was the only practical way I could return to Alatheya at all: to write, build, test, and ship something real again.
The design, the canon, the systems, and the responsibility for what ships are mine. AI helps me produce what I could never staff alone. If you dislike AI-assisted games, I understand — I would rather tell you plainly than hide it. I am grateful simply to be making Alatheya again.
Playtest
Alatheya is an unfinished development build. Occasional Windows playtests are invite-only: expect bugs, missing content, and sudden changes.
If that still sounds good, send a short request. Bots are filtered; real humans reach the inbox.
